SunHY awarded Second Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress Award by Hubei Province.
Recently, a project SunHY led, A technology of replacement of antibiotics by combination of enzyme, oligosaccharide and probiotics, was approved and awarded with the 2nd Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress Award by Hubei Province.
In this project, the new gene of Polysaccharide hydrolase was gained through high throughput screening and site-directed mutagenesis, which has an advantage of good stability, high transfer ability, wild suitable PH scope and strong resistance to endogenous enzyme. SunHY is awarded four patents and build a firm base for the efficient self-production of new feed enzymes in China. With the application of gene optimization, directional screening and carrier construction these kinds of new methods, SunHY got the strain of enzymes for the production of oligosaccharide, with high substrate specificity and high efficiency of hydrolysis, which can be suitable to the large scale production of oligosaccharide. SunHY also developed the technology of probiotics selection, fermentation and post-processing. Meanwhile, they built a genome database of intestinal tract microorganism in different livestock, which can solve the safety and planting problem of strains. SunHY is the first company which builds the data base of NSP-Enzyme-MV and creates the new method to evaluate the enzyme products. Enzyme- Oligosaccharide – Probiotics, the new substitute method of using antibiotics is now on promotion in the main feed mills and generate a good benefit. Besides, it will help a lot with the substitute of using antibiotics in the future.
